Pidgin stopped connecting to yahoo few days ago. I googled a lot about this. And i found the solution for this shit:

replace standard scs.msg.yahoo.com with cn.scs.msg.yahoo.com

Replacing hostname by IP will still not work, as described in a post on yahoo answers. After replacing standard hostname for connection with the other one, just uncheck-recheck the yahoo account and it will work.

So, I’m a linux admnistrator. Which means, i administer linux servers. Ok. So i administer a linux mail server. Being a mail server means is sends/receives emails. But it has a problem : it can’t send email to yahoo accounts. Why?..because yahoo thought it received too much emails from this server, and now it’s rejecting everything. Ok, so how do i solve that? There’s a bulk form what-the-fuck-ever on their website. I tried to fill everything technical, but there were a lot of questions i don’t know the answer – what kind of email you send, how long you’ll delete a person after unsubscribing – and shit like that. Of course, if you don’t fill EVERTHING, you can’t contact them. Fuckers!! Ok, i tried another attempt using a yahoo account. So, i logged into a yahoo account and find a contact us and send feedback menu on that new crappy slowly interface. IE8 didn’t worked. They even said i have a resolution problem. Ok ..yahoo didn’t say the same thing about firefox, but didn’t work either. If i clicked any of those 2 menu items, nothing happened. So the fuckers don’t want to be disturbed. Am i right? Now i have to find a way to explain to all users that use that mail server that they can send emails to any of yahoo contacts, …because of yahoo. Damn!!

It’s about my new toy. It’s a Asus EEE PC 1008HA, upgraded to 2GB of memory. It’s light, works fast, well..not as fast as a core 2 duo processor, but enough for my need for mobility, which only includes putty, 3g connection, terminal services, music and movies, maybe e-mail. That’s all i need it for, and it does them in a very fashionable way. I wanted to test the battery, but after 2 hours, i had 50% left of it. So i guess it’s around 3-4 hours lifetime with no charge, which is excellent.

Choosing BETWEEN wether to learn something, and earn some good money by doing that something, and have your own money and not ask mommy nor your boyfriend for money every now and then, AND just suck some rich guy’s cock, and suck it good till you get his money, what will someone choose?

Not for me actually, but it involves me. So, this girl i used to like a long time ago…almost 3 years ago..and after…hate..a lot, because what she did to me. She lives in Spain. She has this cute lil daughter. And, she lives with her dauther’s father. But out of nowhere, she dreams of being with me. Why is that?.. i don’t know. Mainly because when she had this chance she blew it away by doing things she says she’s sorry about. Ok…so, let’s meet. But no, we cannot, because in Spain, if you want to leave country with your son, you cannot without the other parent’s consent. And, of course, she can’t say to him something like, ..”i’m going back to romania!!..and i might not get back here..Umm…can you sign those papers??”. Ok…Well, lying to him is an option. And trust me, she knows how to do this too well. Unfortunately, this time she can’t do it. But she continues dreaming…Ohh..and i almost forgot, she suffered a lot being appart of me, and she’s still suffering. I told you she’s good in lying. Or not. I don’t know what to think.

I just told her that she should come here and go to a coffee, juice or something…maybe even stay togheter for few days..2-3 ..after that, she’ll think about what she wants to do, and i’m gonna think about what i’m going to do. Ohh…and we just created OUR blog. It’s fun..mainly because it will not disappear…in 10 years i’ll enter  the page and laugh my ass out, because i won’t believe my eyes.

So, she says she’d better not come here. And not because of me, and not because of the father of her daughter, ..just because of my friends. “what will they say when they see me again??”.. Who the fuck cares? I never cared what people said about me and whoever is with me. And i never will…

That’s right. And it started to suck badly. I never had problems with spam with GMail so far. But, as from 2-3 weeks ago, i have at least 3 spam messages / day in my inbox. The e-mails come from another account set up in GMail using POP and all that crap. But, as google say on some lil movie i saw on youtube, they scan everything they get – this probably means including those other accounts you have set up in gmail interface. I just thought they’ll have some bayes filtering, you know, that cost effective filtering that compares the e-mails to the ones you put in in a bayes folder (let’s say spam folder in gmail) and it’s making a decision based on some cost matrix wether the messages is spam or not, and it learns what spam is based on what it finds in spam folder. I put a lot of spam messages in spam folder in gmail. But nothing happened. I still get the crap spam messages in inbox.

At least they shouldn’t praise so much their spam filter, ..at least, not now.

So, i’m just searching online for something to do ..online, with minimum investment, that can bring some extra income. All i found is some websites selling some book that “teaches” you how to do it. I realize that’s their plan of making money – the book, but i want some ideas. Actually, is not necessary to be online, it can be offline, as long as it can give you the extra money i need. I also found out about PayPerPost, or PPP, which is a website that intermediates money between bloggers and companies that need advertising. Long story short, you get money while posting an advertisement – $5-$10, so it’s crap. I’m not that smart to come up with something like milliondollarhomepage, so i need something else. Some months ago i was thinking of a project based jobs website, and take a fee from everyone that registers – something symbolic, like 1-2 euros. But i’ll need too many users to make 1000E, and i want that monthly. Some friend of mine suggested a clothes website. That’s because women enjoy shopping, online or offline, and if we sell woman clothes, it should be great. Unfortunately, there’s way more things to do than just the website. I’m still thinking..maybe after finishing with my exams, i’ll get the free time i need to think…
