They almost rule!! And that’s because they have something i really wanted for some time now. So, what they have?..or..what they can do? Well, it’s simple. They can retrieve e-mails from yahoo and hotmail free accounts and put them in your GMX inbox. And the best part is, they offer POP3. So, GMail being my favourite webmail, i can collect yahoo and hotmail accounts to my gmx account, and then POP3 them to my gmail account. So i guess there is a God after all…

Too bad the “mail collector”, as God named his wonderful tool, is kinda buggy. Hopefully, God will keep working on it till it’s buggy-less Anyway, good luck to GMX team in perfecting this tool they have and which is the greatest of them all.

So, this post will be about 2 things I discovered today. One of them is a free messenger for many IM networks ..something like Miranda, Trillian, GAIM.. But, looks very nice, has many functionalities, and most IM features works in this multimessenger called Digsby. I checked file transfer and video & audio conference on YM network – works great! After this, i discovered some conectivity with few social networking websites, like ..facebook, myspace, …and twitter. I already knew what facebook is …what myspace is…what linkedin is..but i didn’t know about twitter.

In twitter you connect to people you already find there, meaning you’re following them – getting updates of what they write and shit. And other people can follow you, called themselves “followers”, and they get every update of the people they follow, including yourself. I already found someone who had an account on twitter, so now i’m following him ) And, i can get updates in my Digsby messenger, i can write new tweet directly from the interface, i can write e-mails to people from my contact list using Digsby. I don’t know…i’m just amazed of this messenger, and the idea of twitter, so now i’m their no.1 fan.

You start hating HR by the time you realize they lied about everything they told you at the job interview about the company you’re about to get hired to. That’s the first and most important.

Now, i have another issue i can’t solve too soon. They fuckin’ move too slowly. I’m now something called PFA. And i’m registered in Romania since 3rd November 2008. So, now it’s January 2009. And, of course, i’m still not hired to the company i work for as a PFA. And if you ask any of the HR about what they’re doing. They all say they’re busy. And i went 10 minutes ago to their office. They were all laughing and shit, nobody was working. So what the fuck are they doing all day? I’m trying to get hired as PFA for 2 months. And there are 2 papers they have to make – resignation + contract. Today i just made and signed my resignation. So, i’m practicly jobless since 6th January, although today it’s 14th and i’m still at work. So i’m about to sign the contract as PFA. But don’t know when. I guess it’s gonna take months…i hope not!!!

After a week of acting ..let’s say ..normal for us after almost 2 years of relationship, with a small 1 month break…saturday she was quiet. Really really quiet. Until she told me everything: she woke up wanting to get home (to her mum’s place) and never get back here with me, that she dreamed of the girl i was 1 month ago, although she didn’t even see her never. So, back again in convincing her we should be together. The funny part is that ..last 2 attempts…i told her it was the last time i try to convince her. But looks like i’m still patient, and i still want everything with her. For now. What she might know by this time is that my patience is running out quickly, so she won’t have too many chances…

And now, back again, everything is normal…even a lil better than previous week. Pff…

Well, as i’ve been a good boy, as usual, Santa came for me too, ..although a lil too late. Considering i’m my own Santa, i got myself some things i wanted for a long time…and something useful in my new house. So, i got a brand new radar detector, which …i hope it will save some money considering my driving style, and…i got a wireless-N  router. Unfortunately, the fucking provider still didn’t install internet connection to my place yet. So, my router is out of the box…getting dust all over, but not doing its job. Hopefully, they’ll come and install my internet soon enough, because i’m sick of this 3G bulshit. And it’s not because it works bad or something, it’s because i have limited traffic, and after the limit is reached, my speed decreases 8 times than usual.

I’ll just talk about last 2 accidents that i avoided lately.

One of them happened on my trip to the mountains. More accurate, on my way back, after getting out of Ploiesti. So..i was going 80km/h. Some van gets in the road from the left without being assured…so i had to break from 80 to around 40km/h. Seeing him going 40…i signal left, and tried to outrun him. After 10 seconds, the van signals left and pull the wheel to the left… So..how fucking stupid you should be to not look into the mirrors when trying shit like this? So…i almost hit the van..but didn’t. I was lucky with my ABS which saved me from a lot of situations like this. But anyway…me and my girlfriend got a lil scared about this shit. Well..i was just lil scared..she was more.

The second thing happened on Sunday. I was driving on a road with 3 bands…all in one way. So..i was on the middle band…going to my city speed…80 although regular speed is around 50…but that’s not important now. So..i was going 60-70km/h ..when i see this taxi driver on the band on my right, parallel to me…with a car parked ahead of him…who pulled the wheel to the left (towards me) to avoid the parked car. No signaling..no nothing. I had to pull the wheel to the left as well to avoind the taxi driver..and moved to the band on my left, and he moved to the band i was on..the one in the middle. But it didn’t end here. I was going 80…as usual…when i see the taxi driver trying to …i think ram me…i’m not sure…he was trying to pull the wheel left..while being parallel to me. Crazy ass driver. So …we finally reached a stop light. He opens his window and start yelling about how good driver is a taxi driver. Personally, i’d shoot every taxi driver which thinks like this.

We left yesterday morning. Really really in the morning for me..around 10 am. It turned out to be a very shitty trip indeed. I drove smoothly by the end of Campina..and then…traffic jam. Drove with 5km/h for the rest of the trip to Sinaia. We wanted to go to Predeal, but after so much time spent till we reached Sinaia, ..we decided to stay there. We as in me, my girlfriend, my brother, his wife, his daughter. So, the usual 2 hours drive to Sinaia became 6 hours drive to Sinaia, so we got there at about 4pm. Then i wanted to go at 1400m altitude, but the roads were full, so we decided to go to Irish House and have something to eat. I was starving, as everybody else actually. I got there first…some woman at the entrance asks me “How many people?”…”I say..4 big ones…1 small one”…”ok, so, 5 person table, you’ll have to wait around 20 minutes”. So we did, we waited for 20 minutes, and the we got in. Had something to eat..and then went outside to see what we can do by foot. And we found electrical toy cars…the ones that you ram into each other. So we did. Happiest 3 minutes in the whole fucking day. And after that, we went to the city park and watched ice skaters…while thinking of our asses hitting the ice…and then got to our cars and hit the road home. Fortunately, it took the usual 2 hours to get home.

Oh..and i almost forgot…during the 6 hours trip…1 hour i spent on the phone trying to fix shit at work, after a power failure fucked up all servers on our mini-datacenter in the bank. And today i spent 9 hours fixing 2 of them that refused to start. One of them took me few minutes to fix. But the other one, had to be formatted and reinstalled, which took a lot. Happiest fucking vacation till now A bottle of Alexandrion that i just begun drinking will help me forget these fucking 2 days…Happy days are still to come.
