Microsoft has released 12 patches for 20 flaws discovered in its software. This includes 6 critical patches for the flaws that can lead to full compromise of the workstation, and 6 patches labeled as “important”. U can read the whole story over here.
Security researchers had discovered that both Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer fail to securely handle keystrokes entered by the user. This affects v1.5 and v2.0 of Firefox and v5.0, v5.5, v6.0, v7 of IE. Looks like this flaw remained unfixed from the summer of 2006 and it’s a problem about how they designed the software.
