I just read a great article by Scott Granneman. It’s an article from securityfocus.com. In this article, he talks about the EULA (end user license agreement) for the upcoming Windows Vista. Well, IT SUCKS!!..BIG TIME!!..so many fucking limitations. Who do they think they are??God?..Fuck ‘em!! LINUX RULEZ!!A lil more complicated than Windows, but much better than Bill Gates’s full of security holes Windows. You can read the Windows Vista EULA from here. Well,…have fun!!

..umm..and I almost forgot: Fuck Windows Vista EULA!!..

For a week or 2 i’ve been trying to combine Qmail, ClamAV and SpamAssassin…on 2 servers. One for the company I currently work for, the other one to my former compay. The thing was pretty easy. Just following the installation manual at www.qmailrocks.org. I successfully installed Qmail, ClamAV and SpamAssassin, but they didn’t want to work together (qmail-inject error). That was on the server for my former company. I didn’t think of that too much. I just let it to send/receive messages, and put ClamAV on a cronjob to scan the maiboxes of the users every 12 hours. And it worked fine. No more spams sent from the server, no more problems, just fine. The wonder lasted like..2 days. After that, the server began to send like..1000 mails per hour..Last week I installed Qmail, ClamAV and Spamassassin on the server here…my current job. And it worked perfectly. Some lil perl modules problems, but after I finished with them, the whole shit worked fine…and it still does: no spams, no 100000 message queue, nothing. Just working smoothly. Yesterday I went to the former company, that kept sending spam messages from the server. I managed to make ClamAV and SpamAssassin work with Qmail, and i started the server. No spam…for like 1 hour…then I left home. This morning, after a “qmailctl stat” command,….I got like 150.000 messages queued, and like 30.000 not even processed. God DAMN!! I noticed a mistake in the qmail-send program, I modified it, and then get it back to work. When I got to work, after a quick clean of the queue, I was still having like..300 mails queued and 100 not processed.

I’m not sure what’s causing this shit. There are 2 posibilities: 1. viruses on the workstations; 2. viruses on my server. I think it’s both of them. I checked for viruses on the workstations…BidDefender found some, Kaspersky found the other ones..But i was keep sending spam mails. After this shit, I just removed the interface that I used for the LAN (ifdown ethx). I even got down the VPN virtual connection. The fucking bad thing was that the queue was still filling with spams. I got 1 more shot. The spams are sent from the internet, with the username..something like xxx@chris-exim.ro, and my server tries to send them. But how do they authenticate? I mean, I use authentication for both POP3 and SMTP. How the fuck to they authenticate?..and the messages get queued?

..so, coming back to the infected server theory, I think that my server keeps injecting mails in my queue, that’s why it’s filling up with almost all interfaces down. Hmm…tonight, i’ll be going there again…I’ll try to disable all interfaces, and see if the queue is filling up…We’ll see…

I’m hoping for just a english version of my blog. It’s not that I hate romanian, or romanian people. Most of my readers know english, so do I. But, I want more people to understand what the fuck is wrong in my head when I’m writing this (especially someone from Philippines ). I know my grammar sucks..and I have to learn lots of words that I don’t know, but I know this will be useful in the future..(Australia for example).

So..let’s begin this shit. Perl. It’s a programming language that is very good in manipulating strings. Very good at it! For some days now, i’m trying to make another mail server. This time, I wanna make it clockwise. With spam and antivirus scanning (SpamAssassin and ClamAV). Nothing wrong with that. So..I got my Qmail installed as it says in a document on www.qmailrocks.org. I got it running and it works. But without any scanning. So..this is the hard part. Before installing SpamAssassin and ClamAV I needed some Perl modules. And I tried installing them from the sources (tar.gz). 3 modules worked. 3 modules were fucked. Hmm..in the documents I read, it says that there are no rpms with them. Hmm..compile them again…and again…and again…Till..I got an idea. Try to find those rpms…maybe someone needed them before me, and some other guy did the job. “yum install ….”..nothing..Damn! On my computer, I have a FC5 to which I added some more repositories. So I added the same repositories to my mail server. “yum install …” Daaaaamn!!..it works!!..So ..after like..2 hours spending them on google search on the error I was getting when I was compilating that shit..it worked after 3 “yum install” commands.

The packages that need to be installed were:
perl-Parse-Syslog
perl-Statistics-Distributions
perl-Mail-Spamassassin

So, tomorrow I have to do the easy part. Installing SpamAssassin and ClamAV. Wish me luck!!

I have more to say about my SMS experience…that I had a few days..and turned out to be another Calarasi bullshit (and I’m not talking about Ana – but it’s related to her, I think it’s something in the air over there)..but maybe another time..not now. Prepairing to go to a beer and talk to an angel..the naked one.. (well..it’s vice-versa, first I’m talking to her, then going to a beer, or two…or..)

Este vorba despre marea firma Astral, recent achizitionata de UPC. Seful meu are o casuta de mail de la ei. Din cate am inteles nu e gratis, e platita. De ieri nu mai merge: foarte simplu, nu se mai autentifica pe serverul lor. Ieri sun la ei. Stau vreo 20 minute…nimic. “Toti operatorii are busy for the moment”..Azi dimineatza, mailul tot nu merge, am sunat …cred ca adunat se face o ora..si ei tot pula..Pai futu-le mortii in gat cu serviciul lor de suport, aia pe ce isi iau banii?..sa isi soarba cafeaua dimineata in fata cladirii urmarind pustoaicele cum trec podul de la Piata Muncii?? Deci nu e posibil asa ceva….sa stai o ora pe telefon asteptand sa iti raspunda un cumatru care, dupa ce ii zici care e problema, probabil te transfera la alt departament, alt cacat, alta asteptare…Ce IDIOTI! Frate, ai liniile ocupate?..sta lumea o ora pana sa dea de suportul tau tehnic?? Pai in pula calului, esti opeator de telefonie, pune in sloboz 100 de linii astral cu 200 de angajati in schimburi, ca in loc de 1 ora sa astepte omul maxim 1 minut. Chiar asa de incapabili pot sa fie?? Eu i-am zis sefului ca e doar o solutie, mergem peste ei in muncii, si le dam carne pana rezolva problema. El prefera chestii mai oficiale, faxul…vrea sa isi rezilieze contractul cu ei..

..mai umbla pe net o inregistrare cu o crizata dand telefon la un serviciu al astralului, din cate stiu nu era ceva tehnic, era ceva cu o factura..nu mai tin minte sigur. Pai cum p… mea sa nu te crizezi cand vezi serviciile de cacat ale lor?..Pfff!!..si cand ma gandesc ca vroiam sa bag net de la ei la fosta firma….Fuck ‘em!!

Am gasit un tutorial aici. Nu l-am incercat pt ca la munca am un Fedora Core 5. O sa il incerc acasa si o sa vad daca merge sau nu..

Ieri…dupa vreo 5 ani de abs(tin)enta, mi s-a facut de Club A. Vorbesc mai intai cu un prieten care a trecut pe la mine sa ii fac calculatorul. “Da man, mergem”. O sun si pe gagica lui, sa fiu sigur ca betiv cum e, nu uita sa ii zica atunci cand ajunge acasa…”Da, mergem”. Deci..3 so far. Dau pe net de o prietena veche de-a mea..care de obicei se baga la chestii d-astea. Hop ca vine si ea. 4 so far…Mai dau tot pe net de o…cunostinta. Candva mi-au trecut mai multe idei prin cap. Dar mi se pare ca este o persoana care, dupa cum mai stiu si eu cateva, confunda prostia cu dragostea….Anyway..invitatia ramane deschisa, o intreb…ea ca ar veni, pe urma ca i-a promis ziua de sambata unei prietene…(ocupata fata..si cautata!). Pana la urma, incepuse ea sa ma invite in R2 care pana la urma nu stiu locatia lui…Ea a zis ceva, prietena aia a mea a zis altceva…adevarul era pe la mijloc pe undeva..Eu oricum vorbisem cu lumea de Club A, o refuz…anunt lumea ca am ramas doar 4…si hop pe treaba. Ramasese la 10 la McDonalds…cum se intalneste tot romanul..Fara misto, vineri si sambata seara, e manifestatie in fata la Mc..toata lumea isi da intalnire acolo..Crazy shit!!

So..plec pe la 9 si ceva…ii sun pe aia din Rahova…”Frate, nu mai cred ca vin”. ??? “Ca i-a venit…” Desi vorbisem cu ea cu 2 ore inainte si n-avea nimic..Anyway..ii zic, bine, dai un Nurofen, bag-o la somn, si da-i drumu din casa…Se duce omul sa negocieze, dupa vreo 10 min ma suna…”Frate nu pot sa vin, ca a zis ca e geloasa daca vin”.. ..deci am ramas 2..

Ajungem pe acolo..un pic aglomerat, nu prea aveai unde sa stai jos si sa savurezi o bere.. Stateam eu si vorbeam cu prietena ..ma bate cineva pe umar…Cand mai uit..nu se mai termina..AAAaaa…era Florin, un coleg de munca..un coleg care a lucrat si la firma de la care am plecat…”Frateee, nici aici nu scap de tine??”.. Si am stat vreo 5 min de vorba…de cum am ajuns amandoi pe acolo..dupa care el s-a dus la gasca lui…eu am ramas cu prietena..La un moment dat a inceput sa vina puhoi de lume…muuulta..si minore..Mi-as….De comun acord pana la urma am sunat un prieten care are un bar prin floreasca…ne-am urcat in metrou, pentru ca inca mai umbla pe la ora aia..si hop la el…L-am sunat..i-am zis sa gaseasca de o masa libera…Cica nu erau..Ok..ma gandeam ca se gasesc pana ajungem noi..Am ajuns..am stat 2 min de vorba cu patronul, dupa care am inceput sa ne povestim una alta..eu cu prietena..nu eu cu patronul…Dupa ce ne-am depanat amintirile adunate de ultima oara cand ne vazusem, a urmat o discutie pe tema…”ce draq facem sa mai producem si noi un ban cinstit?”..si asta a durat pana pe la 3 si ceva…am plecat, taxi pana la ea, pe urma pana la mine…si somn de voie…

Din amintiri..ca mi-am adus aminte de o super faza: “Nu te-am parasit pentru alta, te-am parasit pentru Satana!!”…God damn!!..am trait sa o aud si p-asta..

A aparut IE7. Nu alpha, nu beta, nici vreun alt sloboz de litera…Deci, ar trebui sa fie gata testarea, si sa vedem ce dreaq a facut Bill Gates cu el. Din cate se zvoneste, e mult mai sigur decat IE6, si are disabled by default rularea de ActiveX-uri…Hope so!! Se poate downloada de aici. Singura chestie e ca tre’ sa ai SP2 instalat peste Windowsul XP..

Dupa ce m-am cracanat de ras cand am vazut filmuletul asta de pe youtube…

..azi cand exploram terenul din jurul locului de munca dupa mancare, am vazut live un accident..destul de naspa, intre un Astra Classic si o Dacie Golan…Autorul accidentului, si conducatorul Opelului?..of course: Cerebel. Din fericire pentru fane, este intreg..la corp, la cap o fi??..pentru ca am vazut cum alerga cu masina pe acolo…

Dupa o incercare nereusita cu NIS 2007 care a reusit sa crape cam toata comunicatia online, in afara de browsere, si nici nu am gasit prea usor cum sa il configurez…si al draq, nu mai vroia sa se dezinstaleze, am gasit Kaspersky Anti-Hacker. Arata bine..face bine..nu suge prea mult (cam 800KB)…Vom vedea cum va merge in continuare..

• Cealalta masina a intrat in mine fara sa ma atentioneze asupra intentiilor ei.
• M-am lovit de un camion stationar venind din sens invers.
• Am plecat de la marginea soselei, m-am uitat la soacra mea si am trecut peste parapet.
• Incercand sa omor o musca, am intrat cu masina intr-un stalp de telegraf.
• Conduceam masina de 40 de ani cand am adormit la volan si am avut un accident.
• Cand m-am apropiat de intersectie, un semn stop a aparut in locul in care nici un semn stop nu mai aparuse vreodata.
• Nu am reusit sa opresc masina la timp.
• Ca sa evit lovirea barei masinii din fata, am lovit pietonul.
• O masina invizibila a aparut de nicaieri, mi-a lovit vehiculul si a disparut.
• Pietonul nu stia in ce directie sa se indrepte, asa ca l-am calcat.
• Cauza indirecta a accidentului a fost un ins marunt intr-o masina mica cu o gura prea mare.
• Stalpul de telefon se apropia repede. Am incercat sa virez in afara directiei lui cand el m-a lovit in fata.
• Am claxonat pietonul, dar el se uita la mine.
• Pe un formular de asigurare (soferul lovise o vaca):
- Cum ati avertizat dvs.? / -Claxon.
- Cum a avertizat celalalt? / -Muuu!
• Apropiindu-ma de intersectie, nu am vazut nici un vehicul venind din dreapta mea, asa ca am lovit masina din fata.
• Parbrizul spart. Cauza necunoscuta. Probabil voodoo.
• Masina din fata mea a lovit pietonul, dar acesta s-a sculat, asa ca l-am lovit si eu.

E bine p-aici. N-am nici o nemultumire despre nimeni…astept sa treaca astea 3 luni..
..in rest..iar am uitat despre ce vroiam sa mai scriu, cred ca pana la urma imi iau un carnetel…dupa cum sugera cineva intr-un comment..

Si succes celor care au ramas in continuare angajati ai acelei firme. Pacat…dar o sa plece si ei in curand.
In rest, nu prea mai am subiecte de discutie. Gasesc ceva, ma enerveaza ceva la un moment dat, dar pana ajung acasa la calculator, uit…si nu mai are acelasi efect…
